Jenny & Nathan Wilson

Pianist, flutist, vocalist and composer Jenny Wilson and bassist Nathan Wilson perform regularly at the Cornish Manor. The duo hails from Morgantown, West Virginia. While both musicians have roots in metropolitan NY and DC, they love living in West Virginia and enjoy the proximity to Deep Creek, Oakland and Pittsburgh. Jenny Wilson has toured and recorded extensively in Europe and New England and holds a Master’s Degree in jazz pedagogy from WVU. Nathan Wilson, an accomplished double bassist and fretless bass guitarist, has performed in Belgium, Korea and nationwide with the Avant Garde Theater Group, "Squonk Opera". The duo's repertoire includes selections from the great American songbook, the Beatles and contemporary jazz standards. Musical influences are from pianists such as Bill Evans, Diana Krall and Shirley Horn. Their recording "Confluence" is available at CDBaby.com and you can visit their website http://Wilson.JeNate.GooglePages.com/home

Don Robinson

Don Robinson is an accomplished musician, with a wide musical repertoire and over three decades of experience in performance entertainment. Beginning in the 70s, Robinson made a name for himself as a successful musician in area bands. His credits include Windfall in the 1970s; Pentagon, out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in the early 70s; Sierra in the 1980s; and Spektra in the 1990s. The last band he played in offered the realization that he could do much more of what he wanted with his music if he practiced hard and learned to cover all the parts himself. Today, as a one-man 'trio' or 'quartet,' Don enjoys playing songs from the great American songbook--traditional songs made famous by the great singers of yesteryear such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mel Torme, Elvis, Duke Ellington, Tony Bennett and, more recently, Michael Buble and Harry Connick, Jr. Mingled with his talent is an engaging, approachable style that draws out his audience, offering a wide selection of pop songs upon request or slipping easily back to his roots in rock and roll. Whether entertaining at a private party, delighting audiences at area cultural events, or toasting after-dinner crowds at fine dining establishments, Don Robinson's music conjures a mood that America loves to remember.
